This is my aircraft. It is a PILATUS B4 15m glider, built in Switzerland in 1974. It is an all aluminium construction aircraft with a maximum glide ratio of 34 to 1, that means I can travel 34 feet forward and only loose 1 foot in height. To put that in perspective, for every 1000 feet of height above the ground, I can fly about 6 miles over the ground. To date my highest flight has been 12,000 feet, and my longest has been 5 hrs 47 min.
